Missy Mazzoli is one of those
young contemporary composers who predefined
sensitivity and our feelings for modern but classic in its essence sound.
Warmly
welcomed by The New York Times, as one
of the "Composers consistently
inventive and surprising creating in New York," Missy Mazzoli is an
American composer and keyboardist established in Brooklyn, whose works reach
beyond the line of classical music
and indie, with intrusive and innovative sound. Her debut
opera Song set
the bar high at the premiere in 2012, causing a lot of
noise and enthusiastic reviews.
Moreover, her works have been performed around the world from New York City
Opera to Sydney Opera House. She currently

And now the surprise! – Dobrinka Tabakova
A native Bulgarian, Dobrinka Tabakova shows amazing talent from an early age by winning
"Jean-Frédéric Perrenoud Prize" in the fourth International Music
Competition in Vienna before turning the age of 14.
She was welcomed by esteemed composer John Adams as "extremely original
and rare. " A graduate of King's College London, where she received her PhD in composition, Dobrinka
Tabakova’s works have been
described as "thoughtful and approachable" by Gramophone Magazine,
with a sound that is both familiar and new. Her debut album String Paths was released in 2013 and
received a Grammy Award nomination for "Best Classical Compendium” in 2014.
Pull
yourselves together!! I will not write just for talented young women :)
Now
seriously – Take a look – everyone make their way at the age when, in our
country, their fathers would have send them as waitresses at Planet to see how to
earn one’s living. And finally - no bread, no stage, but Terminal 2. Because at
a young age some fool has told them that in order to have money, there should
be blood, tears and snivel. Take notes! The
young artist should not think about money. And to think about money in
Bulgaria is the most pathetic idea you can come up with in a country with poor
governance.
