We are 180 in Sculpture society in Union of Bulgarian Artists.
30 out of them are worth. A sculptor can make no more than two quality works
per year. Me personally, I am able to create quite less. Thus the ceiling of
annual production for the international market becomes 60 works. It's rather
discouraging, even on European scale.
Why am I optimistic?
Because only one Apollo of the Belvedere has been enough for
his heavy shadow to weigh over European academies for 300 years.
That is not some petty bargains. That is why I'm optimistic.
